Before you write

• No identity details. The author’s name, institution or any other identifying detail will not be shared under any circumstances. Please don’t ask.
• Written only. No phone, video calls or in-person interviews. Send your questions in writing and you will get a written answer.
• Quoting. You may quote written replies. Please credit “Mikroplastikveri” and, where relevant, link to the post in question. You can describe the source as “an anonymous academic” alongside the blog name.
• Your details. Only include what is needed for a reply. How incoming messages are stored is explained on the Privacy page.
